Highbridge House has two locations-173rd Street and 146th Street Uptown. There are rooms with bunk beds, private rooms, fully-equipped kitchens and free high-speed wireless Internet access. I came to New York City with my friends looking for a budget hostel hotel and was very happy with Highbridge House. The dorm rooms are very comfortable and the kitchens are great. There is also a common lounge for watching television. We stayed in their hotel on 173rd Street and it was very easy to get to all the places we wanted to get to. Columbia University is very close and so are many attractions like the Empire State Building, Times Square and Central Park. We could walk to some places or take a short subway ride.

I was very happy with the dorm rooms at Highbridge House at 146th Street in New York City. This is a great hostel hotel and it had everything me and my friends needed. There is a kitchen where we could cook our meals and a room to watch television or read magazines. It is a very quiet hotel and very affordable. We liked the location, too. There are a lot of places to shop nearby and there are many places to visit when we werent studying. The subway is easy to use and we took it all the time to go to Rockefeller Center and to see plays. The hotel even got us discount tickets.
